My Wife, Lake Whatcom and a Full Moon

Heather had an all girl’s dinner party to go to tonight on the shores of Agate Bay, on Lake Whatcom. And since there was a full moon, still air, and glassy water, she paddled her surfski over to the party rather than drive. Green commuting at its finest.

Hayden and I drove down to the Sudden Valley Marina just in time to snap this photo of her gliding back into shore, headlamp on, red strobe blinking… and a fresh glazing of ice on her deck.

You gotta love Lake Whatcom and Sudden Valley. All year long, any season, any weather, its ready for adventure. Get some!
